The burning blush of embarrassment:  where is it located? For the first time at the very source: in our identity, in our nationality. I am falling on my knees, feeling ashamed for this country, for pseudo-patriotic exaltation, for religious hypocrisy, for emotional illiteracy, for apathetic empathy towards humans, towards nature, towards the otherness. I have never feel so much shame before. How to repent? To lapidate? To rebuke? I am not going to stand embarrassed in the corner, I am going to advertise my embarrassment, explicitly, for one million times I will highlight “I will never be…”. 

Arti Grabowski has produced over three hundred actions presented at performance art festivals, and video art festivals all over the world. His works shock the audience with a shaky dose of emotions: he entertains, he terrifies, he surprises, but he never bores. He is uncompromising both for himself and the audience, as evidenced by the documented collection of injuries.
