Workshop „Silence in me”

Led by Kazuya Nagaya

Description: With the help of Zen bowls' (musical instruments used in Japanese Buddhism), the workshop participants will be able to experience the importance of inner silence present in them; usually we are not aware of this silence yet it never leaves even for a moment. They will be able to feel its existence, to experience the feeling of its growth and the state of surrounded by silence. Kazuya Nagaya will teach how to play the bowls, and (perhaps in the first place) how to listen to them. At the end of the workshop the participants will play together with the teacher. It will be a lesson of listening to the silence, a lesson of meditation, "wiping the dust from one’s mind," a lesson of pure sound.
