This special evening will feature a retrospective of the work of the two interdisciplinary artists. Paweł Szamburski and Patryk Zakrocki will present a wide selection of film works to which for many years they have been creating original live soundtracks. They will play music to works by Roman Polanski (his first student films), Stefan and Franciszka Themerson (experimental films), Władysław Starewicz (the first puppet and time-lapse animation in the history of cinema), as well as cult animations – among others, Shabenbeck, Szczechura or Kijowicz. At the special request of the organizers, the artists will include a special movie surprise within the program!
The musicians will tell the audience about their experiences of working with film, theatre and dance; they will bestow us with a gallant smile and a graceful gesture, and after the final sound they will simply disappear. "
