HGDC is a new, interdisciplinary liveact art project, founded by Jørgen Knudsen, known for its legendary Baktruppen. HGDC originated in 2011 as a “working collective” where the projects are developed through process related dialogue and by continuously seeking and trying out new ways of gathering mindblowing knowledge. The project’s works on this project dance, music, text and space in a playful manner. The collective HGDC focuses on the process of creation and tends to blur the distinction between the process and its finite effects. The group does not agree to limit it through definite ways of expression. For the HGDC history is a dance, and music, motion, text and form of the flow through social structures in which join and disjoin. Their stage could be located on the stock market, in the engine room of a container ship, as well as traditional theater space.
